Michael Nicholas Designs started with a single goal: to make sofas for an unparalleled value at starting retail price points. With a core group of five talented people, Michael Nicholas Designs opened in late spring of 2003. Many early milestones were achieved, with the most satisfying being the first furniture reorder. It signaled that end consumers recognized the product’s value.
As the demand for products grew, the company expanded. A professional sales and support team were added as the business tripled its amount of manufacturing square footage. Production areas for cutting and sewing became dedicated departments as new team members came aboard.
To appeal to additional retail buying groups, Michael Nicholas Designs opened a trade show space filled with exciting designs and innovative seating. The success of this seasonal showroom gave way to new partnerships and exclusive product development, leading to opportunities to bring product value to all retail price points. Every frame is an engineered design, featuring Kiln-dried hardwood and plywood. All of the frame’s stress points are reinforced with hardwood for superior strength and durability. Each frame is fully padded for additional comfort and protection. The narrow-loop sinuous steel spring suspension system makes for an exceptional seating experience.

The all-wood frame construction used in Michael Nicholas Designs products feature hardwood and plywood that are sustainably sourced through ethically minded lumber suppliers. When a single tree is harvested for lumber, five trees are planted in its place for future generations to enjoy.

Down/feather blend product gives back pillows and throw pillows a full and overstuffed shape and soft feel that conforms to your body when you sink into it. When fluffed, puffed and rotated regularly, the comfort of your piece will remain timeless. Fiber back pillows and throw pillows will also maintain their shape through light fluffing.
Prolong the life of your fabric’s beautiful look by vacuuming the surface of your furniture regularly. To avoid any fabric discoloration, it is recommended to avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight.

Consult a professional and pretest a small area before any treatment.
For an effortless transition, carefully pull the mechanism straight up and out prior to unlocking the leg, then pull the mechanism forward. When retracting the mechanism, fold the bottom of the mechanism over the top, flatten the support bar into place, and guide the mechanism straight into its resting position.
