Warranty

Michael Nicholas Designs takes pride in providing superior upholstered products to be enjoyed for years to come. Although the frequency of Michael Nicholas Designs customer service claims is less than half of the furniture industry standard, there are instances that will require service attention.

Filing a Warranty Claim

Any claim for service under warranty must be made by the original purchaser through the authorized retailer. (Michael Nicholas Designs is unable to provide parts or services directly to an end consumer.) Please provide your proof of purchase and any other documents, such as photos, required by the authorized retailer to substantiate a claim for warranty service.  If it is authorized that an item or component of an item is defective, then the retailer will work in conjunction with Michael Nicholas Designs to resolve your claim as quickly as possible. 

Issues Not Covered Under Warranty

 

Accidents

As a general industry standard, the manufacturer warranty will not cover burns, tears, soiling, freight damage, mishandling, deliberate abuse, or accidents of any type. 

Cushion Softening

Cushion softening will not be considered a manufacturer defect. Please refer to our Upkeep section for tips on reducing cushion softening. 

Down/Feather Blend Filling

The down/feather blend construction is naturally plush and luxurious; feathers will migrate out of the down proof ticking envelope with use. Please note that feather migration is not considered a defect.
